The NALRC provides support to teachers through a variety of programs and activities.

* ALTA Teacher Education Workshops: A workshop for teachers and program coordinators attending the annual African Language Teachers Association conference.

* Teacher Talk: A web-based resource and archive of traditional and innovative language teaching techniques and activities.

* African Language Teachers Forum: A web-based forum where language teachers and teacher educators discuss topics of interest.

* Teacher Mentoring: A program of support and consultation provided to practicing teachers at their home institutions.
