SWAHILI, CONGO

There may be a few mother tongue speakers in cities. Second language for 9,100,000 (1991 UBS). Throughout the Katanga, Nord-Kivu, Sud-Kivu, and Maniema provinces and the southeastern part of the Orientale Province. There are other varieties of Swahili in East Africa.
