In "Qwebethe" and "The Unborn Child" a single pattern
organizes
the images of the stores. In more complex tales, more than one
pattern will be developed. In some stories, these patterns are
serially developed -- that is, one pattern is wholly developed,
and then the storyteller moves on to develop a second -- and
perhaps a third, and fourth... In this Kongo tale, there are two
main patterns.
